Our renewable CHP plant would normally be packaged in a standard 20 foot shipping container. The containers external dimensions are approximately 6.50m (l) x 2.44m (w) x 3.20 – 3.80m (h). The container is suitable for locating externally, is secure and sound-proofed. It not only holds the diesel generator but also the heat capture equipment, controls and bunded fuel tanks, although for the largest engines in the range the main tank may be separate. It can be an entirely self contained local Power Station and is simply connected to existing building systems by umbilical cables and pipes.
We can also supply the CHP plant in various component parts, without a container, which might be more suitable for installation into a dedicated plant room.
In either situation the CHP operates automatically using a sophisticated local controller which is monitored via the internet. This ensures that all Cantium CHP systems maintain optimum performance and safety at all times.
