We offer to install and operate a CHP plant at our cost*, charging only for the energy delivered to the customer. Each site is likely to have unique features which will necessitate a bespoke tariff; one that offers the best value energy to the customer. However, a general guide to the likely price of the energy we supply is indicated in the table below.

The reasons we quote a range in the delivered cost of electricty is that this is highly dependant on the efficiency with which the plant can be operated. Sites with a balanced demand throughout the year for heat and power benefit from the lowest electricty prices.
Evenso, these prices should be used a guide only and are subject to a site survey. If you require a more accurate appraisal of the suitability of your premises for renewable CHP then please complete our Customer Energy Audit Form and return this to us. (Download Energy Audit Form)
Where the customer has purchased a CHP plant, with a contract from Cantium to manage the installation, they can expect to reduce their current energy costs significantly. Installing a biofuel CHP plant offers the opportunity to claim Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) and various other incentives which provide extra income. This income can be used to fund the purchase of the plant and offset the cost of operation.
* The purchase and installation of the main plant is funded by Cantium but customer may incur some costs if the CHP needs to be integrated with existing infrastructure on site. |
